Unless you have connections (or misrepresent yourself), you can't get on the invite list. However, the view from the road should be fine, and perhaps better since you will be higher. There are quite a few mesas at the side of the road, with the better one being at N36.51848 W115.53852 if you don't have a high clearance vehicle.

I have an unoffical notice that indicates the next Red Flag starts on the 11th also. If you make it to Capstone, you might as well drive up to Coyote Summit and see if anything is flying.
