Hi, I really don't want to be a spoil sport, but I think I have to agree with 'slick' here, that the pic looks _much_ like an F-16 w/o tail. I think the "canopy problem" is caused by the very bright glint from the front part of the glass. If you try to "ignore" this glint, the canopy shape (as can be determined from the fuzzy photo) is essentially that of a single-seat F-16. I don't say it's _definitely_ a plain ol' Viper (and much less do I know what it does at Helendale), but I think it's the most plausible hypothesis. Just my $.02 Andreas
