You dont' have to. From I-15 take the "Carp/Elgin" exit a few miles east of Moapa and drive around the east side of the Mormons. Last September it was rough but passable in a high clearance vehicle. (BTW, they shot some scenes from CSI there during the first season.) To me though, coming in from Kane Springs Road or from Caliente (after a good nights sleep in a motel) is a lot easier. All depends on how much time you have. I've pretty well put this search aside since last year, but you all are starting to pique my interest again. :-) Dave BethkeI don't know if you really need to drive on the southern portions of the Meadow Valley Wash.
