You got it right. White Sides is in the north, and Freedom Ridge in the south.

In the attached map the signs at GL Rd. are #13. White Sides is the "bump" in the border north of it, and Freedom Ridge the one south. As you probably know the border was extended in 1995 to include these two view spots.

The map is not 100% to scale, but it shows roughly how much closer Freedom Ridge is, compared to Tikaboo.
