Yes, Sprint is only 'free' when you're on their digital network. I've now also got a Cingular phone which is supposed to be 'no long distance charges, no roaming fees' anywhere. So far it's true. I'll be out there in a week or so and see how and where it works. (But not from Tikaboo. My wife will be along and I don't think she'd like the climb. :))
