The thing to consider with badger mountain is the camera doesn't have to be nearly as big as the one on Bald Mountain since the target area is nearby (the hiking path up Tikaboo). In fact, there could be several fixed cameras rather than one that requires an operator. Another possibility is they only observe the peak since that is where the action is.

An interesting question is can the false summit (which also has a view) be monitored from Badger Mountain?

The security camera has to follow the same laws of physics as we do when snooping on the base. That said, I think spotting a person on Tikaboo from 26 miles would be difficult. My vote is if they use a camera, it is on Badger.
