Yes, it is T-bird lake, a.k.a. Desert Lake. (Must have had food on my mind when I wrote that!) The road from the Wildlife Refuge goes there, or you could take the road south from the road to Tikaboo, as was mentioned. I've never been there but according to Craig Fuller there's an F-16 crash site near the lake. (http://www.aviationarchaeology.com/f16tday.htm)
