gee, Mr. Magoo, like your namesake of carton-fame, you're easy....*grin* :-)

HQ Air Force Tactical Fighter program is based at
Wright-Patterson. The two Lockheed YF-22 -- N22YF,
and prototype number two, N22YX (P&W F119-PW engine)
are no strangers to the RANCH in particular, nor our
fine friends at Edwards. It's been advanced more than you think... the really cool feature is the six panel color screens, with the center three capable of forming one tactical panoramic view. The extra-wide head up display (HUD) provide flight and target information without diverting pilot attention from the surrounding airspace; similar info is contained in displays mounted in pilot's helmet....

note: these move so fast that many err calling these
"flying triangles" ....

The Northrop YF-23 is another charmer not a stranger the RANCH, Nellis, and Edwards tactical compound
....pet of AF Major "TACO" Johnston....

The sawtooth wind deflectors give it a distinctive look....They are two prototypes of these also....

There are also more than the one JSF....

be patient. in the coming months you ought to be seeing these flying together again in the upcoming exercises enroute to their favorite "dance" spot over the Mojave....

glad you all like our BIRD toys.... keeps you all busy "bird-watching" while much more important
non-aeronautical black projects get quietly completed within the several complexes.

hehehehe bet you can't use your secret decoder ring to decipher that, Magoo....

Warm regards, it's LATER than you think....

Spookie
