I would think a R/C plane or an experimental high powered rocket with cameras would be a better bet. I know people have flown R/C gliders for 100 miles by using thermals and on-board batteries. BUT, the two questions are: 1. Are you really going to saee anything you wont see via a satalite photo pass? 2. Is it worth bringing out the wrath of the government 24/7?
