If memory serves me correctly some numbers are skipped do to the experimental project, didn't make it and the designation was skipped such as f18 then f20 the yf19 whatever it was, became a failure and was therefore never saw production status oh! but! there is a project xf-19 out there somewhere. It's just it didn't amke to final testing etc. Due to design or engineering errors and had to be scrubbed!. I read this in a book on xperimental fighter desings aircraft etc!.
