This is the hardest 1st leg up the hill from either "Staging Area," to the False Summit. This is the angle and the shale! I did not tilt the camera. NOTE, the Juniper and Pinion Pines are vertical...

Below are the waypoints from my Garmin handheld, I plugged them in years ago and I will use them again. I don't trust my iPhone's Surly or what ever with these -who knows? Use them or not just do your homework and make a check list of supplies and you'll be fine:

Lower Staging Area (Parking & Camping):
37°21'0.00"N, 115°20'41.45"W

Upper Staging Area (Possible Parking & Camping -for who dares)
37°20'58.79"N, 115°20'47.21"W

False Summit
37°20'39.24"N, 115°21'7.14"W

Rocky Outcrop
37°20'39.60"N, 115°21'11.94"W

Saddle
37°20'39.48"N, 115°21'18.24"W

Campsite w/ Fire Ring
37°20'35.40"N / 115°21'26.47"W

Tikaboo Peak
37°20'39.42"N, 115°21'31.86"W

*I don't go to the bathroom without a checklist, my campsite has this craggy rock formation looking towards the base. It makes a great latrine so pack some TP.
Cheers!
