Some things that are interesting on your way out to Rachel is ET Jerky, and the Alien Research Center. As for over things around Vegas that are cheap, Red Rock Canyon, I highly suggest Valley of Fire. On the south end head out to GoodSprings, Exit I-15 at Jean, check out the gas station there..its pretty impressive. Out at Goodsprings check out the Pioneer Saloon. Just a neat little place. On the way back check out 7 Magic Mountains or something like that. For a good day drive..you could always go out to Death Valley and check out Jedi Canyon (The Jedi Transition) or whatever people are calling it now.
