My two teenage daughters (one is High School, the other is in college) voted for us to go to Las Vegas this year for a summer vacation. I've been there numerous times but never with the family. There's plenty of attractions and shows but most of them cost $25-$100 a head. That's fine for a few days but I don't want that to go on every day of the trip.

So I'm looking for thigs to do within an hour drive of Vegas that would be interesting but not so costly. Would love to spend a couple of days near Rachel and hike Tikaboo but not everyone would go for that. Hoover Dam is already on my list. Thanks! John
