I hate to ask a stupid question but was the PAV2 airframe with GE power responsible for much of the aurora hype of the 90's? Though the big numbers are still classified, some of the guys that were interviewed made mention of the engine tests causing a sensation similar to what happens when a top fuel dragster passes you in the bleachers. I would hate to think that this was the answer to so much hype ("skyquake" LOL! )and hoopla but it could be that simple. Comments appreciated.
