Yeah, I can't tell you how many times I've seen unexplained things in that general area, later to figure them out. Once late at night we were doing a medevac mission in the corridor between the Saline MOA and R-4807 on the way to Vegas. The ground lit up with laser beams all around us and things were exploding!(This was 20 plus years ago mind you). As we continued South and looking back we could see the flame from the missile's tails. The lasers were just designators lighting up the targets. I was hoping Star Wars or something. Bummer.
