I was just out there for the tour in July. They mentioned it once or twice but on the road to Sedan Crater they did say that if you kept following the road that you would get to an abandoned guard shack. 300 yards up from that is another guard shack where they have automatic weapons. Other then that, not much else was said and to my surprise, nobody was asking either.
