As I was reading the post asking about the F-117 SuperSize I recalled a program I worked on in the late 80's. I don't know why I didn't think of this when I first read about your sighting way back. I was thinking F-117 follow-on , I guess. It was for a LO Transport for Special Forces. It had to be big enough for a one Hummer and a 12 man "A" Team. The drawings I saw would have been about the size of a SuperSize F-117. Though that was NOT the configuration I saw. It was still on paper, and in competition at that time. I was told the "white" world had been trying for years to modify regular aircraft for this mission and finally gave up and it went black. Those (white) mods included spraying ram on intakes. There were other examples, that I can't recall. I do recall that they also tried it in the HAVE arena before the Black. Anon E. Moose
