It used to be that since the Carlyle Group bought EG&G, the EG&G website wasn't working. When all the stuff hit the fan about the Carlyle using money from the bin Ladden family, the Carlyle Group website went into single page mode (a page with no links). Now the EG&G web page is back with a note saying that Carlyle Group owns the company, and the Carlyle Group website is full of nice warm and fuzzy stuff. This might mean that Carlyle is going to spin off EG&G, or it is a way to keep EG&G and bin Ladden as far away as possible. Poking around the EG&G website, I see that the Special Projects building is still listed: http://www.egginc.com EG&G From switchboard.com, EG&G appears as: Searching the employers records of Nevada: http://detr.state.nv.us/lmi/data/empprofiles/top_017.htm EG & G SPECIAL PROJECTS INC 300 - 399 Employees An identical entry appears for Nye County.
