Was watching a documentary on the 1971 skyjacking that DB Cooper did and found out the plane he skyjacked has a connection to TTR. The plane in 1978 was sold to Piedmont Airlines by Northwest Airlines where it was registered N838N and continued service until it was sold to the now defunct charter company Key Airlines registered N29KA, and incorporated into the Air Force's civilian chartered fleet that shuttled workers between Nellis and the TTR during the F-117 development program. In 1996 the aircraft was scrapped. I've always been fascinated by the DB Cooper case as they have no idea what happened to him and it's the only hijacking case not solved by the FBI. The TTR connection was a fun fact.
