I must say Don & Blade are correct!....Done the trip dozens of times and common sense is all you need...Oh, and don't forget that most of Hwy 375 is "Open Range" which means no fences so watch out of Wild Life , Horses and Cows. A Black Heifer on a moonless night on blacktop at 70mph can be a real bummer! Do take a couple of gallons of water just in case and have a ball. Do stop at the Inn as Pat & company are Very nice folks and can always use the business. Don't cross the border and you will be fine. If you can possibly stay overnight the Inn has cheap rooms and the night sky out there is unbelievable!!!! Coyote Summit is a great place to Star Gaze.
