the sphere was a vacuum sphere - the vacuum was used to create a low pressure for laser firing in their system integration lab that was the same as the airplane would see at it's battle altitude.
the b2 is still there but it lives inside of the engine run dock i believe - not the big hangar..... the b2 may be launching from external parking spots and/or running tests that require seeing satelites...
