When I recently received a review copy of "Area 51: The Graphic History of America's Most Secret Military Installation" and flipped through the pages, my first reaction was: "Ah, another UFO comic book". But the cover promises the real history of Area 51, and the book delivers just that! It focuses on (actual!) developments at Area 51 in the context of the Cold War, from the U-2 to UAVs and speculations of what might be in the works there today. Despite a few minor errors it is well researched and the illustrations are often base on actual historic photos.

The book, laid out in the style of a "comic" book, is a very easy read with lots of facts, both informative to those new to the subject and entertaining to those of us who have studied the history of Area 51 for a while. It makes a great Christmas present for anyone interested in the real history of Area 51. See the link below to Amazon.com for more information.
