I think it's too bad our government has to obscure public satellite photos in order to maintain an edge. This is obviously not a runway, since there are no rubber marks from landings. Could be a launch only facility.....nah. Certainly, it's a weapons test range, maybe laser. Most of the equipment is no doubt underground, which would explain the obscuration during construction. The idea of the shuttle is intriguing, and if true, an unfortunate miscalculation that someone either gets to live with from now on or maybe commits suicide over the guilt. Either way, it only goes to show that we are all human and even the smartest make mistakes. Either way, it's comforting somebody has the watch.
