Although I am certainly not "in the know" ;-), I'd like to add my $.02: - "F" designations: I very much doubt that the "F" in any "secret designation" is intended to mean "Fighter". It _may_ have originated as such (with the MIGs), but I guess it's nowadays just an arbitrary letter. - Gibson sighting: I know there is a _photo_ of a sighting with 3(?) F-111s and a large delta, which was proven to be a hoax. Are you sure that Gibson's sighting _report_ is also a hoax (I don't know - I just ask to avoid any confusion with the hoaxed photo). Andreas
