"Q-3": This is probably simply Q-for-"Quartz" and a number 3 from the "Tier 3" name. It can't be related to the old Q-series, which ran up to at least Q-12.

"SX-1": Never heard of AOLO/EROS. SX-1 is generally reported as identical with (and sometimes quoted as "official designation" of) the McDonnell-Douglas "DC-X" (Delta Clipper-Experimental).
