great pictures. you don't get a real good feeling for the size of these aircrarft until you take them away from the airfield where you normally see them. i watched the space shuttles towed from palmdale to edwards, a 747 towed from mojave to edwards, and various other smaller aircraft towed on roads around the antelope valley in calif. even the delivery of the first couple of global hawks from san diago was a sight to behold. i will always go see the tow events if possible.
