I would say flight testing is conducted about once or twice a week on average. Sometimes almost daily, but it varies by project needs. Most tests are pretty mundane stuff, like testing mods on some subsystem of the B-2 etc.

Yes, sensitive testing takes place mostly at night. Personnel essential for the test will usually stay overnight in that case.

I have not noticed increased security during times of active testing. But then, I don't usually go out to the gates in the middle of the night during a test.

If there is no test there is only a small group of security and maintenance personnel etc. on base on weekends.
