I was searching the FCC database elsewhere and figured I'd take a look again around Groom. I found some Lockheed Martin freqs that I don't think were there the last time I looked. The transmitter location says Springdale, but if you plug the coordinates into a map it comes out in the NTS. If you don't have a map, the location is about 13 miles north east of yucca mountain, 29 miles east of groom lake.

The location is in a valley, so I'm not sure where it could be heard. Tikaboo looks like a possibility. Also the hills near Stonewall pass.
