To clarify, let me add this: We don't even fully understand the new sensor system outside the perimeter. But we do know that it is effective, because no matter where you show up near the perimeter there will be security there within minutes. If neccessary, one of their choppers.

Even less is known about the sensors INSIDE. But again, we know they are effective. When personnel with low security clearence moves around inside the restricted area they are periodically called on a designated (and most likely encrypted) channel to verify that it is them who tripped the sensor. They have to report back their present location, which is indicated by barrels with numbers written on them, that are placed in strategic positions along the road.

Oddly enough, the cammos don't seem to trip these sensors...

This is first-hand information from a very credible source, whose identity I can and will not reveal for obvious reasons.
