It looks to me like Flight Aware is doing the translation from WWW to Janet in their software. The do the same thing for the major carriers, i.e. DAL1250 becomes Delta Airlines 1250. So, this isn't a government acknowledgement of the janet/www link, it's strictly Flight Aware doing that...reasons unknown. I think that it is a great idea to associate those. It's only taken them just over 20 years to do it. Good sleuthing wheresjanet!
