My dad flew these from 1969 - 1973. As the RB-57F of course in the Air Force. He passed last year. Wish I had known of the refurbishment. I would have liked to have asked him if this was one that he actually flew. Surprisingly the number sounds familiar to some stories he told me. Somewhere on one of my storage disks I have a photo that I took after a take off that I watched. I will have to find it and see if the tail number is visible. One thing I can say is that he LOVED flying this bird. When he would tell stories his eyes would light up. And I know everyone argues with me, but he claimed to have gotten to 92,000 ft.
