yes. It has been around for a while. it was an old airstrip which has been upgraded into a UAV/UAS test site. see the attached link. also go to google earth at that location and turn on history view and you can see when the developments were done.
GE also has 3d buildings if you turn that view on while in GE.

ps. as of the last sat image it looked quite "slow" there
