My buddy's dad was a thud pilot in Vietnam. His last name was Breakly out of Texas. I asked if he had his dad's old logbooks and he said no but he had photos with him and tail numbers. I gave him the USAF serial number link and he said one his dad's "lead sled's" was a gate guard at Lubbock or something. I can't quite remember the whole story but it was cool he tracked down the old man's aircraft and it wasn't shredded at AMARC!
