Agreed but WS students are TDY for six months--a huge cost. The grounding of 17 units proves the flying/ops budget is also squeezed and the ME phase especially is flying intensive. RED FLAG may only continue if it's still tied to deployment spin-up. It will be interesting to see what happens to the 422 and OT flying at Nellis...

Losing the next class is going to create lots of holes at flying units and that will ripple for a long time
