Here is the photo that Pete mentioned in his post of an F-4G with Groom Lake in the background. According to Pete's comments, the photo was "taken in May 1980. It shows a F-4G with Bald Mountain and Groom Lake in the background. The photo was taken by MSgt. Paul Harrington. Groom Lake is about the same distance away as it is in the F-22 picture, but this shot was taken from the opposite direction". Source OFFICIAL U.S. AIR FORCE PHOTO (RELEASED).
