Welcome to our discussion forum, Taylor. You certainly came to the right place. Many of our regulars are very knowledgeable in (real-world) weapons technology as is being used in Nellis-based exercises. And I am sure they will be happy to help you out. Although far from being an expert myself I have seen many Red Flag exercises in the time I spent in Rachel and I'll be happy to help if I can. I have also seen crash site investigations first-hand, and had many opportunities to talk to personnel involved in all aspects of the exercises.
