Still a great shot as these clouds are rare for every 1000 seen in the Northern Hemisphere only 100 are seen down under, the clouds are about 47-53 miles up. Space Shuttles used to create quite a few ultimately the clouds of ice produced by the main engines from these launches were blown northward and seen around 50 deg N and beyond. So all that to say it must have been something out of VB or let's dream and say perhaps it came from the Area.
