I was at Nellis in 65.....As I recall we had about 2-3 weeks of rain. Don't recall if it was spring or summer. But from the photo there is still some snow on the mountain and he is wearing a field jacket. must have been early spring....Very rare to see any rain in that part of the country, however......I'm sure the normally dry lake beds got a few inches of water.....Wouldn't last too long though!
