As it says it was used to test the F-22 integrated avionics......The F-22 system are different from any previous fighter/aircraft in that the 'central computer' controls everything(all systems)on the aircraft from the Radar to the canopy operation....

So I guess the 757 test bed was essentially a 'proof of concept vehicle......Reminds me of a Harpy Eagle....

IIRC the F-35 has a similar system.....!?!?
