We are hoping for fly-bys on September 19 when the SCA arrives at Edwards, but it will depend on the fuel load. After landing, the aircraft will taxi to NASA Dryden and remain overnight. Most of the base population will be able to view the fly-bys and, to a lesser extent, the taxi. NASA employees and families, news media, and VIP guests will get a closer look after the SCA is parked. Visitor access will be tightly controlled with special passes. Due to parking limitations and other logistics issues, the event at Dryden will not be open to everybody with base access.

if all goes as planned, departure the next day will be fairly early. There may be fly-by opportunities in the local area, as well as over other parts of California before the SCA arrives at LAX in the afternoon.
