astra7, In Google Earth, if you follow that main dirt road just a little further South, there is a gate at: 37° 17.323'N, 115° 26.577'W This is the infamous "Wilson Gate" that the Popular Mechanics writer botched in the late 90s. I posted a few pictures of the gate on Panoramio that you can see in GE. The pictures are just a little North of the actual gate.
