Rick, The store/gas station and related RV park was bought by Richard Bunck of California, about 6 years ago, and closed. He claimed to have plans to re-open it, but that has never materialized. And, it's still unclear why that is. More info that may answer all your questions about the area may be found at the enclosed link.
