The "SR-75" and "XR-7 Thunderdart" were fictitious designs created by Testors plastic model company in 1993 to take advantage of publicity generated by the Aurora rumors that were popular at the time. They are completely bogus and do not represent real aircraft.

"People always want to have things surrounded by mystery; `black' programs are always good (for model sales)," said John Andrews, division manager for plastic kits at Testors Corp., a Rockford, Ill.-based model maker.
