I don't have any fsct-supported theories to explain the hangar and mound, but I do have a couple comments on the dirt mound: - It does not block out the entire hangar door. In the photos on this site, it appears that you can still see the upper half of the door. If mound is a view screen, then the aircraft is probably not unusually tall. - While the dirt mound would hide an aircraft parked outside from the view of Tikaboo tourists, the aircraft would still be visible to any one on the base who happened to look due south, unless they've constructed some type of view screen to the north of the hangar that is not obvious on the sat photo. - If there is something buried in the mound, it would have to be pretty stout, because it appears earth moving equipment drove on top of the mound to shape it.
