Just to clarify:

The Glomar Explorer was the ship built by Howard Hughes to recover the K-129 in 1974 (Project Azorian) with its enormous underwater crane, trapdoor, etc. That ship was mothballed at Suisun, CA but was taken out of storage a few years ago, rebuilt and is now sailing the seas doing fairly ordinary oil-drilling work for Transocean and other oil rig companies.

Sea Shadow is inside a barge at Suisun, but I don't think the barge is all that exotic; it just protects the ship. You can see it in Google Earth.

The battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) was in storage at Suisun until very recently: it's now down at Richmond, CA being restored for museum duty. Good thing: it was really looking delapidated out there in Suisun.
