The Coyote Springs development was planned at the height of the housing boom in Vegas. At the time it may have made sense to some. In one newspaper article around that time the developer mentioned they expected prices to be around 80% of Las Vegas prices (which as we all know now were inflated by several 100%). That did not make any sense to me even then.
