Yeah, that's an old WWII auxiliary runway (looks like a "T" with a circle at the intersection).......Las Vegas AAF (Nellis in the old days) trained many an airman during WWII in gunnery and I assume bombing......I recall my Father-in-Law telling me he took his gunnery there and at a strip near Tonapah (not sure where that was)..... No idea how many of these Aux strips were in the NTS.........
Use to see F-100's take off from Nellis with a foam/alum dart under the wing....
