I can share another "Oops I landed where?? story..."
Back when F-117A's were black world at TTR a George F-4 landed IFE at TTR. It was put in a hanger and waited for a long time for George crews to get clearance to come fix it on a weekend when there was no flying. The pilots were driven home. I'm pretty sure it took over six months to get those guys cleared, and they were a little surprised when the aircraft tail was repainted with "TR". :) When crew chiefs get bored they do funny things...
