The two F-16XL prototypes included single-seat and two-seat airframes. NASA used both airframes for flight research projects. The airplanes parked by the MDD used to be parked next to the F-16XL-1, along with the NF-15B (STOL/ACTIVE/IFCS testbed). I'm not sure why anyone bothered to move them. The NF-15B will probably go on display next to the SR-71 at NASA Dryden. The three objects by the MDD are space shuttle support equipment. I can find out exactly if you want.
