No the Area since its creation has not seen a Total Solar Eclipse.

In 1991 there would have been a Partial Eclipse, totality was seen across Central America the most central eclipse for 800 years. A Total Eclipse will take place over the Area in 2045.

There will be a Partial Eclipse in Nevada in 2017 with the main corridor of Totality crossing the Northern and Mid west States of the USA.

Due to the Earth's tilt 23.4 degrees and the Moon having an Ecliptic Orbital Pain around the Earth most Eclipses occur north or south of the Tropics. Also as the Earth is 2 thirds water they mainly happen at Sea.
